An Adult Learner is:
- A student who will graduate from UCR at the end of the spring quarter but who is not admitted to the fall quarter.
- A student who has previously graduated from a UC campus.
- A student from another institution.
- An individual not attending another institution (If you are looking for a certificate course, please contact UCR Extension).
- A student who has not yet graduated from high school. (You must apply through the Summer Academy for Advanced High School Students).
- An International Student.

Please note:
Admission to UC Riverside Summer Sessions is a separate and distinct procedure from admission to regular status in the University and does not carry a guarantee of admission to that regular status. Transcripts of previous college work may be required to enroll in certain courses. Please click on the forms link to the left to download an application form.
